A real buzz about the place. Our urban bee project continued.

It’s time for our Midtown bee-keepers to step forward.

Last month we wrote about our plans to encourage local businesses to get involved in bee-keeping by hosting hives on their premises.

This is a great CSR project that will not only be fun and yield a stickily tangible end-product, but also make its own contribution to reversing the worrying decline in honey-bee populations in the UK.

There’s been a great deal of interest so far from local businesses and it’s now time to select the buildings that will make suitable homes for our urban bee populations and arrange appropriate training for our would-be apiarists.
