Crossrail – Find Out More About Ground Settlement.

You may already be aware that Crossrail, a new railway for London and the South East, is now being built. Some of the tunnelling or excavation required for this new railway will be taking place near your address.

Tunnelling and excavation causes the ground around it to move, and this ground settlement may sometimes affect buildings. Here is a leaflet that we hope you will find useful in understanding how ground settlement might affect property, what we will do to protect property or pay for repairs to it, and how we will keep you informed.
