Keep Your Bag Safe With inholborn’s Newly Installed Anti-Bag-Theft Clips.

Many local eateries, pubs and bars are now offering inholborn bag clips to customers, as a reaction to bag theft in the area.

If you’ve been out to many of Holborn’s pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes recently, you may have seen a new campaign that inholborn has launched to prevent bag theft.

During a recent audit in Holborn, bag theft was identified as one of the key problems in the area. This information was reinforced by stories we’ve heard from employees and businesses, as well as reports made to inholborn’s Police Community Support Officers, Matt and Victor.

To combat bag theft, we got businesses involved in a preventative strategy. Participating businesses have installed anti-bag-theft clips underneath their tables and bars for customers to attach their bags to. These clips are a simple idea that, when made use of, does a great job of preventing bag theft.

Businesses that have asked for clips to be installed have also been supplied with window stickers, posters, and tags, that not only let you know which restaurants, cafes and pubs have the clips, they also alert bag thieves that these are theft-safe areas.
